Vehicle categories range from Cat. A (cars) up to Cat. H (heavy goods vehicles over 12 tonnes). Cat. B covers light goods vehicles up to 3.5t, while categories C through H cover progressively heavier commercial vehicles. The rovignette is also required for Romanian buses and passenger-transport vehicles.
