The 1-day and 10-day vignettes (categories A and B) are valid immediately from the chosen date. For the 2-month and annual vignette bought online by a private individual, the 18-day legal withdrawal period applies — order it in advance, ideally 3 weeks before departure; for a trip coming up soon, choose the 10-day vignette instead. Vehicles over 3.5t use the electronic Go-Maut toll system instead of the vignette. Without a valid vignette, a replacement toll (Ersatzmaut) of €200 for a car and €100 for a motorcycle applies; if unpaid within 4 weeks, an administrative procedure follows with a fine of €300 to €3,000. Refund conditions are not published publicly — contact our customer support.
