Switzerland requires an annual motorway vignette for all motor vehicles and trailers up to 3.5 tonnes using the national motorway network. Since 2023, an electronic vignette linked to your license plate is available alongside the traditional physical sticker. The Swiss vignette is valid from 1 December of the preceding year to 31 January of the following year — a 14-month period. Payment can be made using credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer.
