In the Czech Republic, all vehicles with a maximum authorized weight of up to 3.5 tonnes must have an electronic vignette to use motorways and expressways. Vehicles with fewer than four wheels, such as motorcycles and trikes, are not subject to this requirement. Trailers are also exempt from toll charges. There is therefore only one toll category: vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.
