Four validity lengths are available — 1 day, 10 days, 30 days, and 1 year — all valid immediately from the chosen date. Driving without a valid vignette (and without an exemption) carries a fine of up to CZK 20,000; a fraudulent exemption claim, up to CZK 100,000; failing to submit a required exemption notification, up to CZK 5,000. Refunds are available in 7 precisely defined cases (duplicate purchase, incorrect plate or registration country, and others) — request within 3 years of purchase via the form on edalnice.cz, handling fee CZK 75.
